Forward is a communications agency based in Stockholm, Sweden, working with copywriting and graphic design.
 At the moment we're working for ad agency RBK and producing stamps for the Swedish Postal Service.
about forward:
Staffan Wilsson, copywriter:
after studies in film, literature and communication at the Stockholm University, with a MA in film, he started working as a journalist in 1997 and the following year co-founded web agency Pixshift. Since then he has combined journalism and copywriting, writing for magazines such as Café, Femina and HM Magazine and working with advertising for Skanska, Absolut and numerous other Swedish clients.

Eva Grinder, graphic designer:
after studies at the London College of Printing (BA) and Konstfack (MA) in Stockholm she started her career in 2000 at renowned London typographer Peter Wilberg's studio and later the same year joining design agency Design by White, working with art direction for fashion photography.

Then followed three years at the Amsterdam agency Thonik where she developed visual identities for the Van Gogh Museum and the City of Amsterdam, produced museum exhibitions and designed books for a number of publishing houses. She is currently developing her own type face Mido.

recent projects:

Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts: Logotype and visual identity
During the main part of the past year we've been busy developing a logotype and a visual identity for the Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts. Forward has also designed signs, stationery and a webb site to be launched in spetember.

Xtractor: Script for e-learning course Staffan Wilsson of Forward spent a few months co-producing and writing the script for an e-learning training for Sony Ericsson. The course was produced by renowned e-learning developer Xtractor.

Kring mat: Company presentation Kring mat is a company working with exhibitions and experince design. Forward designed a small folder that in three steps presents their activities.

Manos: Visual identity
We designed the logotype, visual identity, signs and printed matter for new design store Manos. An online store will also be launched soon.

Familjebostäder: Wallpaper design
With a design named Uno, Eva Grinder of Forward won the 2006 wallpaper competition arranged by housing company Familjebostäder. The wallpaper design is also used in the company's communications, such as binders, folders and give away items.

Almén Gest Design: Newsletter and communications strategy
Design agency Almén Gest expressed a need for smarter and more efficient communications. In answer to that, Forward developed a strategy and materials such as newsletters, product sheets and stationery.

Zita: Graphic design
For the last five years, Forward has designed the Zita Folkets bio school cinema program. The designed is based on flexible graphic patterns and bright color schemes.

BRYT!: Book design
Study materials produced for Forum för levande historia and RFSL Stockholm, two institutions working with issues such as recent history, race and gender. This material is aimed at youth organisations and examines gender norms in society.

Café Magazine: The Book Pages
Since 1999, Staffan Wilsson of Forward is the literary critic of men's Magazine Café. The literature section mainly consists of reviews, news and interviews.
